Parents Helpers - and Parent Reps

We'd like to think that all our parents are helpers...... in terms of getting kids from A to B, helping out with goals and kit and generally helping make life a little easier for the kids and coaches. We'd particularly like to welcome - and say thank you - to our new Parent Reps who have kindly offered to help out with some admin duties for each team. The main weekly role is to help with match day admin, including administering and sending off the league match sheets - but in general they will be a point of liaison between the club and the parents. The reps are as follows: Under 7 Colts - Lara Under 7 Youth - Martyn Under 8 Colts - vacant - please volunteer Under 8 Youth - Nataly Under 9 -

The Road to Wembley

Well not quite Wembley (more likely Thamesmead Town's ground....) but all our Cup competitions will be kicking off in the coming weeks. All U12s to U16s have been entered into three cups this year. The Saturday Youth League Cup, the Amateur FA Cup and the FA London Cup. If you want to see when your age group is playing, you can access links to all competitions here (see the League website links for the League Cup). Alternatively for the AFA Cup and FA London Cup click on their logos below.

Coaches Wanted

We are on the look out for new coaches to join the club - both as managers and assistants. If you know of suitable candidates or want to learn more please either email Jamahl at ltfc95@hotmail.co.uk or get in touch via our contact page.

Commentary Box - have you logged on?

As most of you now know, all teams have been using Commentary Box this season. Commentary Box is a new online system for managing football teams. It combines organisational issues -such as fixture planning - as well as coaching, game objectives and player review areas. Most teams are now on-board and all parents should have a login. If you don't yet have one either ask your manager or email Jamahl at ltfc95@hotmail.co.uk and request your login. We are still having a few issues with the match day fixture details - whereby if and when a fixture is updated, parents are not being notified by the system. So for game details please make sure you continue to use the other channels by which game det

Pitch Side Conduct - a reminder

Football can be a game of passion and excitement but we just wanted to remind parents, spectator, players and everyone involved in the club of the pitch side basics. Please take a couple of minutes to watch the FA Respect video and re-familiarise yourself with the club's code of conduct. If you have any issues with any member of staff please do not hesitate to contact the Club Secretary via our contact page. He will get back to you in due course.

Harris Academy - Friday Training Update

This year, we have invested in extra training facilities at Harris Academy in Bermondsey. This gives us a full size training pitch for use on Friday evenings and complements other sessions the teams may have at Myatts Fields. Unfortunately - due to circumstances completely out of our control - the sessions have not been running smoothly and we have had to cancel some recent Friday night sessions. In a nutshell, Harris has had a range of problems with the floodlights - meaning that even the earlier evening slot is now not possible. Hopefully all teams have found short term alternatives to get the team training. If not please speak with your coach. We should know over the next week or two whet
