Lambeth Tigers go further than any other English club in Gothia Cup - but suffer 0-1 defeat in Quart

Many congratulations to our Under 13 team for their fantastic journey at this summer's Gothia Cup.

The Gothia Cup is held each year in Sweden. It is the biggest youth football tournament on the planet. In the Boys U13 competiton there were 138 teams from 27 countries. Tigers made it to the last eight, narrowly losing to a Tunisian team- who went on to lose in the Final.

Tigers topped their group - winning all three games against opponents from Sweden, Germany and France. They then won three further knock out games, beating teams from Germany, Scotland and Sweden before bowing out in the Quarter Finals.

It was an amazing experience for all players and coaches. 28 goals were scored and just four conceded in seven games. You can see all our results here.
