Gothia Cup 2016

In July, we took a team of U15s to the world's largest youth football tournament, the Gothia Cup in Sweden. It was a fantastic experience for the all the boys and we'd like to thank all the coaches, sponsors, volunteers and parental support in making the event happen. We entered in the U16 age category and played against teams from Norway, Sweden, Germany before going out of the tournament after a penalty shoot out against a Turkish team - which actually went on to win one of the major trophies. Northern Ireland tour

Last weekend, Jai and Martyn took the U13s to Belfast to play fixtures against two of Northern Ireland’s top clubs. On Friday evening we played Cliftonville FC U14s at their Solitude Stadium. Perhaps feeling a little weary from the journey, we got off to a slow start and were a bit out-muscled in the first half but from 3:0 down at half time the boys really picked it up in the second half. The game ended with a 4:2 defeat but our confidence was high going into Saturday morning’s game against Glentoran FC. Club Awards Day

Thanks to everyone who joined us at the Lambeth Tigers 2016 Awards event. It was a fantastic turnout from players and parents, and a massive congratulations to all teams and individual award winners. Club Awards Ceremony

We are pleased to announce and confirm The Lambeth Tigers Football Club awards ceremony will take place on: Saturday 9th July 2016 Sacred Heart secondary School, Camberwell New Road, London SE5 0RP Please arrive by 10am - proceedings will start at *10:15am* SHARP and will be concluded by 1:15pm. All players are expected to attend in the following: White shirt Black trousers Black shoes We'd love to see parents and family members on this day of celebration as we aim to take you all through the plans for our upcoming season which we believe will be our greatest ever.
