Jamahl Jarrett

Jamahl Jarrett reformed LTFC along with David Marriott in 2007/8.
Jamahl's current role at the club is director of football, he oversees the development of all players from u7-15 & has created the syllabus for all coaches to follow.
Jamahl was fortunate to taste the academy experience as a young boy before unfortunately acquiring a long term leg injury that impacted his progress through the game.
Jamahl is a strong believer that the game needs to be played the right way and adopted a style similar to those of the top clubs in Europe like Bayern, Barcelona & Liverpool. Attacking free flowing football.
Jamahl is currently working towards obtaining his UEFA Pro licence as he looks to increase his knowledge & understanding of the game. He is currently head of recruitment (foundation phase) at Crystal Palace Football Club and has been very successful in his role.
"Me and David identified that Lambeth was losing it's love and passion for football, we knew anything we did would have to be quality so we could compete with the top teams at this level, it's taken time but we've got there in the end!"

My main objective as a coach is to help the players understanding their roles as people first, after that he will understand better what he needs as player.
I'm happy to see a big improvement with the players I'm working with, and I'm still in Lambeth Tigers because I have a great relationship with my team, coaches and parents. I will stay with them until I manage to help most of them with their dreams."

“Growing up as a young man in Lambeth there were always distractions from what i was supposed to be doing. Through sports such as football and boxing, I was able to channel my energy, become more disciplined, and improve my social skills. Coaching in the community I grew up in is a privilege, and working with young people who grew up in a similar environment is rewarding. Lambeth Tigers have commendable values and a strong football identity, and it is that of hard work and discipline that I pass on to my players."

"What I found on my arrival at LTFC was the togetherness of not only the players and coaching staff but also the families and friends of the club who do their utmost to Create a family atmosphere & environment. What's being achieved with very little support here is amazing. I've definitely made the right decision!"
